Long Beach Open House
Join us for a glass of champagne!
Long Beach is about an hour from NYC whether you drive or take the train. Street parking is free. For the train, start at either Penn Station or Atlantic Terminal and use the the Long Island Railroad to Long Beach station. When leaving the station, head straight to the beach and turn left on the boardwalk. (It is a 20 minute walk or $5 taxi ride.)

In the lobby, dial 504 followed by the green bell-shaped button to buzz yourselves into the building. We are on the 5th floor.
Wave Hill Gardens
An urban oasis, Wave Hill’s 28 acres sit high above the Hudson River with sweeping views and lots of open sky in the Riverdale section of the Bronx—easily accessible by car or public transportation.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 to take advantage of the sunset.
We recommend taking an Uber/Lyft/Taxi as Sunday trains are less frequent.

You can take the Metro-North Hudson Line to the Riverdale Station (a 20 minute walk) or the #1 Subway to Van Cortland Park/242 Street (a 30 minute walk) and take an Uber/Lyft/Taxi from the station.
Private Garden Tours
5:00 - 5:45 PM, October 10th
Wave Hill is a curated garden of species from all over the world. Volunteer docents have offered to give our guests a private tour before the ceremony begins. It is worth spending a full day at the garden, but this tour will introduce the highlights of this fantastic place. Please let us know if you would like to join.
You may also want to visit during the garden’s public hours of 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM. (Admission fee and vaccination card required.)
Wedding Ceremony
6:00 PM, October 10th
The outdoor wedding ceremony will take place on the Wave Hill upper lawn at sunset, overlooking the Hudson River.
Reception
6:30 PM, October 10th
The reception will be an outdoor evening of small plates and hors d'oeuvres from Katchkie Farms, hosted on the Wave Hill patio.
The open bar will serve cocktails and mocktails. Children are welcome.
Brooklyn Bagel Brunch

Michael's brother John and family are hosting a traditional New York Bagel Brunch in their backyard. No need to RSVP, just drop by for an authentic New York bagel and say hello to the newlyweds!

COVID UPDATE: We ask that all guests take a Covid test before arriving.
While New York City has imposed strict Covid vaccination requirements for indoor venues, our wedding and reception will take place entirely outdoors. You will need to wear a mask when using the indoor restrooms and it is perfectly appropriate to wear your mask all evening if you desire. We do kindly ask that you mask while inside the apartment for the open house and bagel brunch.
We have made our wedding carbon-neutral with an offset through CoolEffect that will include your travel.
